An energy audit is a systematic process to obtain sufficient information about the existing energy consumption profile of a building or group of buildings, an operation or an industrial or commercial facility, to identify and quantify the opportunities for economic energy savings and to record the results in a report. If the annual energy costs exceed 10,000 euros (net), the funding amounts to 80% of the eligible consulting fee, but a maximum of 6,000 euros. If annual energy costs do not exceed 10,000 euros (net), the funding amounts to 80% of the eligible consulting fee, but a maximum of 1,200 euros.
